Does not absorb moisture from a wound, thus can be used in case of inflamed or infected tissues approximation.
Minimize seams rejection and forming of wound cavities.

- Coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate.
- Dyed in violet color .
- Sterilized by ethylene oxide gas.
Particular qualities of Synthil “IGAR”:
- Causes minimal trauma when passing through human tissues .
- The knots are firm and strong.
- Biologically inert material.
- Non-antigenic.
- Causes minimal tissue reaction.
- Tensile strength retention after two weeks is 65%. Absorption of PGA suture is essentially complete between 60 to 90 days. .
